Misty Corpuz (Mist) is a Filipina-Canadian photographer, director, and producer based in Toronto. Before photography, she spent over 20 years as a dancer, exploring emotion, expression, and storytelling. She also studied graphic design and cinema which taught her to notice the little things that make a big difference.
Driven by curiosity and introverted by nature, Mist brings an observant eye to her work. With a documentary sensibility, she focuses on preserving culture and connection, looking for moments that feel honest.
Forever a student, she approaches her practice with openness, allowing each project to unfold as a conversation. She creates a calm environment where people can settle in and feel like themselves - never rushed, always intentional. Through her work, she's inspired by people, their presence in a space, and the ways we all co-exist in a moment.
