I'm Mist, a Filipina-Canadian photographer based in Toronto. I have a background in dance, graphic design, and cinema studies. I first got into photography through street shooting, drawn to moments that subconsciously reminded me of scenes from movies and music videos I loved watching growing up.

With a documentary sensibility, I tend to look for moments that feel honest and unforced. Forever a student, I try my best to approach each project with openness and curiosity, letting things unfold naturally and seeing where the work takes us. More than anything, I want people to feel comfortable enough to settle in and be themselves.
